They are based on ATCs, which is Artist Trading Cards. The ATC/ACEO is based on the baseball trading cards and the size is limited to 2.5 x 3.5 inches. It can be any material, any medium. The only limitation is the size. <br /><br />ATCs are traded between artists or given away, but never sold. When ATC's gained in popularity, the ACEO was developed because people wanted to buy the ATCs.
