I would know right where you were, Claire--you captured the scene in such great detail, but not in a fussy way ; ). I love the vignette feel in this one, too~~

What a pretty piece and so French! Its been a long time since I was there. It brings back good memories. ,,,, what fun to have a drawing class based on an internet voyage. I had never heard of such a thing until Terri told me about this challenge.
Claire, I can see a big difference in your two pieces. The draft is really nice on its own, but the finished version makes such a bigger artistic impact. You are making great strides in value.
