It is just too cold outside so I pulled out a photo from long ago , and quickly laid in the values with a fairly limited palette. I did not get too detailed and kept to the values of my original sketches.
Isn't it fun to look back and paint from photos imagining the world full of the colors from living plants? I love the way you capture the freshness in these. Nice pallettes, especially the pinks in the bottom one and the red, purple, green combo in the top.
Beautiful light on both of these. I think the bottom one sings.
