This latest watercolor still life painting #4 is Yellow Tomato. Continuing in this series of works from photos of my vegetable share items from last season, I hope to maintain my momentum and keep steadily working.
I remain impressed at the intensity of hue and range of values you get with your watercolors. This series of fresh vegetables and fruits is really stunning. This one has a lot more greens and yellows than your first two, but I love the contrast of the bits of red, especially the little pepper (I think?) under the corn.
