I am planning an exhibition of my paintings at the end of the year...and am beginning to put some pictures together. The first one is of a woman making 'rotis' (Indian bread) in Ladakh.
This next one is of fishing boats at rest, on the banks of the river Hooghly....which runs right through Kolkata!
Neat scenes, Brinda. How large is the one of the woman makaing rotis? Just curious. I like the color palate here, and the perspective of looking from behind her. Will this be in your show? Tell me about your year's end show, okay? Also, congrats on continuing to do figures in your work, as you have wanted this time around. Hugs from afar!
ReplyDeleteBrinda, good luck with the show and your wonderful work! I'm preparing for a low-key show this Sunday and haven't had time to paint anything new for the challenge. Now I'm behind again!
ReplyDeleteThey are both so beautiful and interesting too. I love your colors and style.
