82, graphite 14x 17 and 83, 84 Self portraits 12x12 oil

I worked with a small round mirror next to my mask.

After observing the mask , I constructeded a simplified portrait.


Once I blocked in the features I attempted to bring out more details, note the fierce look of concentration.

    ...I've never tried a self-portrait. One of these days maybe I'll give it a try. I've enjoyed seeing all of yours over the year. Ditto, Lorrie...your hair is wonderful. I love both styles.
