CathyO #16 and 17

 #16 - The moon was setting as the sun was rising.  This was my view (from my bed!) on the Monday after Easter!  I thought it made an interesting study!
#17 - As the weather has been warming up, I have been thinking about getting out into the garden soon.  Leafing thru some magazines, I saw a photo that inspired this study.

    I really like your washes in these compositions, especially the trees where the green goes from cool to warm to cool. I can feel the sun rising and warming the landscape. So simple but so powerful.

    I like your sunrise? What state were you visiting in? Your son has interesting items for set-ups. I really like how you did the wood tones and the handle of the shovel. It really sets the mood well.
