All your photo skills have certainly given you a good eye for detail and color. She looks like she is looking in my window. I just love your birds!
Kelly, this bird is adorable! I like your goal of working on speed and looseness.
Very inspiring, Kelly. I'm trying to get looser, but I feel like I'm really going against the grain for me! Seeing what you did here with a very detailed little creature, with so few strokes gives me hope : ). Lovely!
Love the immediacy of this, the urgency if you will. It very much has that hurried efficiency of someone trying to capture something in a fleeting instance. An economy of strokes.
You've done a good job of capturing enough detail while suggesting others that gives the viewer a quick glimpse of the subject but not intimate knowledge.
Good job, now on to the next!
Boy ... you have been busy! I love the detail that you have captured with the different colors and tones. The detail of the feet on the branch is really cool.
