Painting #99 times three

I really wanted this 99th painting to be special but the first one failed, so I tried again and that failed, so I tried again and that also failed.
So I am posting the three failures.  I don't give up easy.  lol

I took a photo of a small steam we passed by and tried to loosely paint those wonderful autumn colors and reflections.  I cropped the heck out of it and here it is.

This is the view out our front window which faces east.  Early in the morning the sun peeks through the evergreens and I had to try painting it but, another cropped view.

I really love the sky and the morning sunrise but again, I had to crop out the bad parts.

I had a cropping good time.
Tomorrow I will post my last painting.  I promise there is only one.  I can't believe it will be my last.  This challenge has been awesome and I am so happy I made the commitment.

The light and color in all of these is wonderful! I love how such simple sketches can catch so much feeling. I can almost feel the dew in the air on the last two. They all make me homesick for Wiosconsin.

I am not able to paint without lots of detail, but you really did a nice job and they (all 3) have such a glow. I do know what you mean about cropping though, I guess we are our own worst critics. Congrats on 99!

The landscape with the sky and morning sunrise can be cropped into a long rectangle. I took the image and did it. It still needs the tree line to be played up a bit more. I'd love to show it to you, but I suggest you just crop some more. Don't be afraid to discard most of the picture to get the picture. It looks good. Your colors are lovely. This painting is salvageable. So is the top one.

Teri - Congratulations! 99 paintings is a HUGE accomplishment. Wow! Good for you!

I know I've pretty much dropped out of the Blogosphere, but I have been lurking occasionally and this big milestone for you called for an appearance. Congrats again for seeing this Challenge through!

...Teri....I LOVE the last "failure." It looks perfect to me--crop away! ...and I loe the watery feel of the first painting...

I really love the last one also. It's a very dreamy scene. I'd frame it!
