Kristin 87, Pyrola

I have been wanting to paint this for a while. I think I worked from a sketch that I did last summer. Wintergreen is one of my favorites, since they seem to be shy flowers you come upon deep in the woods (though of course I find them on the side of the road too).

You achieved such 3D believability with this, each flower so well done and the leaves, too. Wish I could enlarge it more To further enjoy the details!

Such delicate beauty in this Kristin! The leaves look as though they are velvety.

Lorrie, you should be able to enlarge it by double clicking on the image. Sometimes you have to double click a second time. One of Blogger's new features that is a bit buggy.

The double clicking worked beautifully! What a beautiful little flower. I think we have these in the mountains here.

Well done!
