Christmas Robin #15

Laure encourages us to include a variety of work in our challenge. This is a quick sketch in my journal. No pencil lines first. While my husband was photographing, I was sketching. The robin was busy eating the bright red berries ... I think a type of dogwood.

Sketched with a fountain pen on rather poor journal paper. Watercolor added at home when I was looking at one of Dale's photos on my laptop.

LOL I would like to take credit for encouraging everyone in the challenge... but it is the other Laure who is the challenge host (e.g., I"m Lorrie the participant). Either way, we're in this together for fun and growth!! Precious robin, Elva. I really like the red tips to the leaves as an added interest.

...This is really nice, Elva, and you didn't even sketch it first! I can just imagine the robin gobbling up the berries! It would be a cute Christmas card too.

Oops! My brain was thinking Laure, but my fingers typed Lorrie. I've corrected it now.
