Kelly - Painting #17 - A Tufted Tiddlywink in the Cold

I found this little Tufted Titmouse sheltering in the branches of a pine tree on a very, very cold and snowy day in February. He was fluffed up to extremes and very cute. My cousin calls these fellows Tufted Tiddlywinks and the name has stuck for me...

Lovely, Kelly! You've really captured his fluffiness and the colors are so soft and pretty~~

Adorable. I can really get the sense of the feathers with the broken colors. Charming! (and what delicate feet too!)

I love these little birds. We had them in California and they were so cute. For a few days I had one that would peak on the window of my bedroom and wake me up. I could not tell what it was doing. Maybe it saw itself in the reflection.

Your painting holds the spirit of this sweet bird, quite lovely.
