Clifton Gorge - Krista

This was previously blogged about on my personal blog, but thought I'd include it here, as it is Painting #6.  It was a great day, because Kelly and I were on a painting date!

It is so fun to paint with someone else. This looks like an idyllic place to paint. Lovely feel of running water.

Just gorgeous! Yes, the sense of movement here is wonderful. You do such a great job of keeping your colors clean---even the mud is not overly muddy ; )!

This is lovely, Krista. I know you and Kelly painted the day after Thanksgiving. I don't get a sense of Autumn in this piece.

Raise your level of awareness for the NEXT piece to make sure you give your viewers a clue as to the season - if that's important. This could have been summer or even spring with the lighter greens and purples.

Next!!

I love the texture that you've captured in the water -- you've even captured movement.

....I remember that day well, and I LOVE, love, love this painting. The colors are so pretty and the movement in the Little Miami River is beautiful.
