Nice atmospheric color as the scene heads into the distant mountains! I always find that a challenge.

Those distant hills add so much depth to the painting and the colors in the foreground lead me right into the painting.

I just love the loose, impressionistic feel of this one, Krista. Fantastic colors, too!

An excellent landscape, Krista! Love the depth you've achieved in the mountain range.

Suggestions for the NEXT one - vary your values in the far mountains. The lighter they are the more distant they are. Add more darks to the middle ground to firmly establish it as the middle ground and lighten the foreground to make it the foreground.

NEXT!

The softness of this painting really appeals to me. But the subtle differences really do help provide depth. Beautiful.

....I like your painting so much more than the photo. It is gorgeous...you have depth and shadows....I love the greens, browns and then the greys and blues in the background. Really nice....
